For more than 25 years, Dr. Rumberger has served the dental needs of Vero Beach residents. He has studied advanced clinical dentistry at the Pankey Institute and has more than two decades of post-doctoral study and experience in aesthetic dentistry, periodontal treatment, and full-mouth reconstruction. You can rest assured that every treatment, from simple to complex, is performed with the utmost precision.
Dr. Rumberger grew up in Fort Myers and attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He and his wife, Sharen, have been married 28 years and have six children.

Dea Gibson, Dental Assistant
Dea Gibson joined our Practice in 1981 as the office dental assistant and front desk receptionist. As the practice grew, she became the full time dental assistant to Dr. Rumberger. Dea really enjoys working with our patients and helping them feel comfortable during their visits to our office. Over the years, patients have come to rely on Dea’s presence to give them a sense of calm and reassurance during their appointments.
She is an avid walker, participating in numerous marathons and half marathon events. She placed 3rd in her age group in the Disney Half Marathon in 2008 and 2nd in the Nashville Marathon in 2007. She is a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, and attends Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Dea has been married to her husband Bob for 51 years, coming to Vero Beach from Hatboro, Pennsylvania. They have three sons, and 7 grandchildren.
Lisa Hughes, Patient Coordinator
Lisa Hughes joined our Team in 2000 as our patient coordinator. As your primary contact with our office, Lisa will work hard to make sure your appointments are convenient, well managed, and will do everything possible to facilitate your needs. With 20 years of experience in the dental field, she is extremely well qualified to assist you with all of your financial concerns regarding your care so that you can meet your dental goals. You will find her a welcoming presence in our office.
Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband Patrick and their 4 year old daughter Cassie. Her hobbies include weight training, a good book on the treadmill, and boating. She has competed in fitness and figure competitions, and has a special interest in the area of nutrition.
Angie Gage, Dental Hygienist
Angie Gage is the newest member of our office staff, having come to us in 2006 as our Dental Hygienist. Being in charge of our Hygiene and Recare program, Angie takes great pride in assisting our patients maintain the health of their teeth and gums in the best condition possible. Regular professional cleanings are an integral part of great dental health and overall health. Angie is here to assist you with this as well as more advanced gum and periodontal procedures as needed. She finds it imperative to treat each patient as the individual that they are, and will work with your individual needs.
Having spent time in the business world before making her career change to Dental Hygiene, Angie was very determined to work hard and obtain the most that she could from her education. She graduated with high honors, was placed on the National Dean’s List, named in the Who’s Who of American Junior Colleges, is a Phi Theta Kappa Society member, and received the Dental Hygiene Academic Excellence Award. She takes pleasure in using her education to help provide the best possible care to each patient.
Angie is a long time resident of the area and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and especially her two children.
